I learned an interesting fact this Thanksgiving. The first Thanksgiving took place on 1565 in St. Augustine, FL. and it was originally the Spanish I probably should have known it before but I think that our idea of Thanksgiving, as well as most holidays, have been thwarted in some way. Very interesting.
Regardless of the history, I think was is important is that we have these holidays as a time to gather with family and friends and enjoy eachothers company.
